A man in the audience had a heart attack during the second act and died later at Roosevelt Hospital. Richard Woitach, the conductor, halted the performance, and the house lights came up to allow doctors in the audience to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation for about 20 minutes until an ambulance arrived.
