Frieda Hempel repeated "Qui Sola Vergin rosa" in English as "The Last Rose of Summer"
Enrico Caruso repeated "M'appari"

Review 1:

Review of W. J. Henderson in the Sun:

The four principal singers in the cast of "Marta" were the same as when, after a lapse of seven years, the opera was revived last season. Miss Hempel was the Marta, Mme. Ober the Nancy, Mr. Caruso the Lionello and Mr. De Luca the Pulunkett. The performance generally was full of spirit and admirable in artistic results. In detail it was well marked by the salient requirements of the score.

Mme. Hempel's singing had brilliancy and tonal loveliness to commend it, and she was much applauded throughout. She of course had to repeat "Qui Sola Vergin rosa," and in observance of custom she sang the encore in English, as "The Last Rose of Summer."

Mr. Caruso was in splendid voice and delivered his music with beauty of finish and with elegance. His "M'appari" in the third act was, as it is wont to be, the climax of the performance, and called forth salvos of applause, which continued until the tenor was finally obliged to sing it again. The mounting of the opera again deserved praise, as did the singing of the chorus. Mr. Papi conducted with intelligence and skill.
