M. Van Dyck is suffering from an attack of Bronchitis, and the role of Siegmund in the "Die Walküre" will be sung by Herr Dippel.]

Although David Bispham is listed in the program to sing Schubert's Erlkönig, he is not mentioned in an account which mentions what poor voice he was in for Act II of Tristan.
